I was born in London, England and moved to the New England area when I was eight years old. I currently live in Swampscott, a seaside town just northeast of Boston, Massachusetts. I am an artistic person who enjoys gardening, photography and cooking. My education is in occupational therapy, but I prefer to use my creative skills as an freelance writer & creative artist. In my current profession as a freelance writer, I have added content to blogs, developed Hub Pages, Squidoo Lenses and Facebook Fan Pages for clients. I have also designed splash pages and banners.However, what I enjoy most is writing fun and fanciful stories for children. I love combining interesting facts about the world around us into a story that children enjoy reading and learning from. Plus, to keep children engaged in the story, I add graphics and pictures, too. |
